Scotiabank face General Accident in Senior League
SCOTIABANK 'A' and General Accident will face each other in the feature match of the Business House Netball Association (BHNA) Senior 'A' League this evening at the Leila Robinson Courts, starting at 6:30.
It will be the second meeting betweenn the two this season, with the bankers coming out victorious in the Open League final 32-29 and first in the Divisional Senior 'A' League.
With three wins apiece for both teams against Jamaica Broilers, WISYNCO 'A' and defending champions GraceKennedy, respectively, the big clash between the bankers and the insurance aggregation should produce another close and exciting encounter.
Both coaches — Winston Nevers of Scotiabank 'A' and coach/player Oberon Pitterson-Nattie of General Accident— see the game as very important as they try to take the early lead in the first of two rounds in the Senior 'A' League.
With victory in the Open League final, the bankers will come in with a slight advantage, but not to any great extend as both are expected to begin the one-hour encounter with their strongest seven players.
Meanwhile, the other Senior 'A' League game will see defending champions Grace Kennedy and WISYNCO 'A' doing battle at 5:10 pm.
Action in the Division Leagues is scheduled to begin at 2:30 with Norman Manley International Airport vs Cari-Med, Appliance Traders vs Jamaica National Building Society, National Housing Trust 'B' vs FLOW Jamaica and Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica vs Pan Caribbean Bank.
In games set to start at 3:45 pm, LIME Jamaica face Victoria Mutual Building Society, Altamont Court Hotel vs Sagicor Life Jamaica, Industrial Commercial Development vs HEART Trust/NTA and Bank of Jamaica vs Wray and Nephew.
At 5:10 pm, Sagicor Life Jamaica 'A' are up against South East Regional Health Authority and Aeronautical Communications vs Stewart's Automobile.
National Housing Trust 'A' will meet Jamaica Public Service and WISYNCO 'B' battle Jamaica Money Market Brokers at 6:30 pm.
