Platform now allows policy renewals and premium payments

AutoSmart Insurance, (underwritten by General Accident Insurance), clients now have the convenient hub of communication through the company’s website. Reporting claims, making payments, getting quotes and renewing policies are now one click away.

“We want our customers to know that they can even create an account with us and be able to view all of their policy and claim details,” said Lesley Miller, chief information officer at General Accident. “It also opens another way of providing the clientele with ease-of-access to vital information and services.”

The site, allows for easy navigation, improved efficiency for clients who want to quickly access to claim information.

In less than five minutes, queries and quotes can be accessed while incident reporting to fast-track the claims process can be processed.

“The site also offers mobile responsiveness to make it easy to access on smartphones,” Miller said. “So our clients who are constantly on the move, like our taxi and bus drivers, can now pay for their policies online while they are taking a break from the peak work hours.”

The site boasts Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption which is a protocol designed to provide security over a computer network. This ensures secure log-ins and a payment gateway for online credit card payments. “Our customers can count on us to relentless innovate easier ways of doing business with AutoSmart,” concluded Miller.
